Benoa Harbor is located in Denpasar City, Denpasar district, south of Bali. If you travel from Kuta Regency, it is 8 km via Jl. Bypass Ngrah Rai, From Sanglah Denpasar 8.6 km via JalanDiponegoroSesetan. If you enter this port, a distribution fee will be charged at the Benoa port counter.This Benoa port is right near the entrance to the Bali Mandara Toll Road, if the direction to the toll gate is from Denpasar, Pesanggaran Village.
Benoa Harbor has been under construction since 1924, based on Stb. 1924 No. 378, along with the presence of the Dutch in Denpasar City. Initially, the boundaries of the working area and interests of the Benoa port were based on a map of the Dutch era port set out in Staadblad number 16 dated January 8, 1926.
Furthermore, the boundaries of the working environment of the port and the area of interest of the Benoa Port are determined by a Joint Decree (SKB) of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Minister of Transportation number 15 of 1990/KM.18 of 1990 dated February 14, 1990.[1]. In 2010 Benoa Harbor received an award from Dream World Cruise Destination Magazine as Best Port Welcome.[2]
